On Thursday, April 11th, and Friday, April 12th, Paul Lucchese, Chair of the IEA Hydrogen TCP, and Rocío Valero Uría, Coordinator of the Technical Secretariat, attended the 85th REWP Meeting at the International Energy Agency (IEA) Headquarters in Paris.

During the meeting, the TCP Chair presented the strategic communication plan for the TCP’s next 5 years and provided an update on the status of the Hydrogen Coordination Group, led by the Hydrogen TCP.

The Strategic Communication consisted of two parts:

  1. The first part detailed the current state of hydrogen technologies and presented the global hydrogen landscape.
  2. In the second part of the presentation, the hydrogen’s TCP Chair presented the current state of the Hydrogen TCP, its contribution to the global hydrogen sector and highlights of the last term (2020-2025).
  3. Subsequently, the new mission, vision, and strategy of the hydrogen TCP was shown alongside the core activities planned for the next term Collaboration, task portfolio, and strategic activities.

The collaboration section stands out, where the Hydrogen TCP has the role of leading the Hydrogen Coordination Group, approved by the CERT earlier this year.
